Assessments

Many standardized assessments are mandated by federal law, ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act). These assessments are implemented across the state of New Hampshire at identified times (usually spring). Other standardized assessments are administered locally. All standardized assessments provide the Moultonborough School District with valuable information about the academic proficiency and growth of our students. The results of these assessments are used to inform instruction, make program decisions, and evaluate and set goals for curriculum areas.

Standardized assessments are one part of the District's over all evaluation of how our students are doing and how well the District is doing in preparing and empowering students to shape his or her future with knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to thrive in a changing world.
